For womxn, a lack of knowledge and respect for the hormones and natural cycles that differentiate male and female sex hormones is bubbling to the surface; a systemic gap in medical research due to the historic presumption that womxn are just ‘smaller men’. 


GoddessSync addresses these issues by drawing on growing scientific research on the health benefits of ancient practices, in particular intermittent fasting and time-restricted eating. 


Since the Nobel Prize was awarded in 2016 for work relating to the mechanisms of autophagy (cellular recycling), research on the benefits of fasting have grown from 1-2000 published articles to now over 50,000. With this, the practice of fasting has also grown as the health and longevity benefits have become part of the popular psyche. 

We're not 'smaller men'

Unlike current apps modelled around men and the presumption that womxn are no different, we're building GoddessSync in a way that takes into account the complex particularities of womxn’s sex hormones throughout the month to adjust the fasting protocol (time-restricted eating windows) according to every individual womxn’s cycle and lifestyle.

By synching your fast with your cycles, you're protected from the effects of high cortisol levels, which can occur with more advanced fasting protocols. Where men have been shown to thrive, womxn at particular times of the month will disrupt the creation of hormones required for a healthy cycle, which has a knock on effect on hormones that regulate other functions of the body like mood and hunger.
